HELPING MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD

LET'S CLEAN UP EUROPE

Together with friends, and sometimes also with my family, we participate in forest and beach cleanups. Sometimes we have done it within the activities proposed by Let's Clean Up Europe and many others we have done it on our own. It is an activity that does not cost money, that you can do at any time of the year and that will always make you feel good.

WORK FIELD

This summer, I packed my backpack, mat, and sleeping bag and went on a two-week work camp in the Montsec Natural Park, performing some improvements that had to be repaired. I had signed up with a friend, but she caught Covid the day before we left, so I decided to go alone anyway. The work camp has given me the opportunity to meet new people who share my interests and to be in touch with nature. We've repaired roads, created animal shelters, and even constructed a bee hotel. In addition, we cleaned up the woodlands and the Camarassa reservoir area. Without a doubt, an experience that all young people should have in order to understand the necessity of environmental protection.

CAN YOU HELP ME BUY A COW?

Buying a cow campaign: yup, that's exactly what it sounds like... a cow!

In a tweet, a family missionary friend in Uganda explained that the pupils at his school were so hungry that they were unable to concentrate in class. This missionary desired to build a stable with three cows in order to provide milk to the school's pupils on a daily basis. It occurred to me to start a fundraising campaign to purchase one of the cows (€675). It was so inspiring to see how my students, as well as my professors, contributed money to the campaign. Even the school's Ampa became aware of the idea and expressed interest in working with it!
